Italtex All Round Trousers Spring/Summer 2022
Because of the increasingly more casual and sports style, trousers have become key in terms of look, wearability, innovative fabrics and decorative elements. However, the high competition requires a product deeply renovated thanks to fabrics in new patterns and qualities, new garment finishes and details like labels, pendants, ribbons, stitching, hooks, studs, linings and buttons.
The inputs contained, result from a work of research made online, at exhibitions, or visiting the shops. It includes drawings/sketches designed exclusively for Italtex, paired with actual fabrics from the best Italian mills. Therefore, even fabric manufacturers will appreciate the new interesting inputs they can further develop in their collections.
These are the reasons behind the creation of this unique trend book meant to support garment manufacturers, product people, stylists and designers about to design a new trousers collection for Spring/Summer 2022.
For a strong product characterization, our research focuses on five themes:
TRAVELER
The
man travelling for business or leisure needs a practical, comfortable,
performing item, not too flashy.
The man who loves to be protagonist, who chooses to spend his free
time in social situations, attends parties, events, cocktails and social
gatherings, and is attentive to fashion and novelties.
SAINT TROPEZ
The seaside atmosphere of Cote d’Azur: sun, sea, bright colours,
the 1960s luxury and vintage lightheartedness expressed by the iconic Brigitte
Bardot.
MOTO BIKER
The
bikers’ world, not quite about technical garments, but rather the style made of
dark and dusty colours, a worn-out, gritty and determined look.
The tennis world is a source of inspiration for either sports trousers or lightweight, light pastel colour trousers. We can't go without mentioning the great tennis players of the past, who used to be the protagonists of tournaments, playing in elegant linen or cotton trousers with pleats and cuffs.
